The Capacity Building Wing of FVTRS has EDP centre, which serves as a training unit to equip various stakeholders with entrepreneurial skills. FVTRS conducts a 12-day, three-phase training programs to promote Master Trainers in imparting training on Entrepreneurship Development.

FVTRS focus is on making the youth employable by equipping them with skills so that they make a decent living by engaging in a job of their choice, preferably as entrepreneurs to effect more employment for others. Job creation and economic growth are the two primary outcomes of entrepreneurship promotion. FVTRS efforts have ensured enhanced skill levels, improved access to capital and a responsive incubation of network to ensure growth of technology-driven enterprises.We also believe that entrepreneurship cannot be imparted to a person with one or two sessions. It has to be a continuous engagement with the youth so that they develop it, sustain it and enhance it. Hence the development of entrepreneurial skills is the essential component of the skill training programme.
The EDP centre offers training for Master Trainers and also conducts trainings to small scale entrepreneurs, Social Enterprises, CBOs, manpower companies and others.
Virtual Review Meetings - 2020
The review meetings of certified master trainers’ of EDP centre promoted by FVTRS were conducted on 27 August, 11 September, and 25 September 2020 through virtual meet. These meetings were participated by 42 certified master trainers from sixteen states and the meetings were facilitated by Ms Divi Ananayagi, Ms. Silli Dalai, Mr Felix D’souza and Mr C P Nicholas.| Event Date | Report | Photo Gallery |

Final Phase of 8th batch EDP Training of Master Trainers
Final Phase of 8th batch of EDP Centre was conducted from 11-14 February 2020 at Jeevan Jyothi Institute, Hyderabad. The programme has been facilitated by Ms. Divi Ananayagi G, Ms. Silli Dalai andC.P. Nicholas. There were 15 participants from the states of Uttarakhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
